Many advanced dentistry methods and technologies are available at Adler Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. Among them are veneers. For correcting misshapen teeth, unsightly gaps, or deep discoloration, porcelain veneers may be the answer. For those not familiar with veneers, they are thin porcelain coverings that fit over and are bonded to existing teeth. Veneers looks natural and are made from the most advanced dental ceramic available. The use of laser scanning to detect tooth decay is another advancement available at Adler Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. If you’ve ever had a dentist find a cavity and place a rather large filling in it, you might have wondered why the filling is so large when the cavity wasn’t present just a few months before. Well the answer is likely that the cavity was there before but it just wasn’t big enough to show on x-rays, and wasn’t visible to the dentist yet. The Laser Scanner finds cavities sometimes year earlier when the ultra-small cavity can be removed and repair with a small invisible bonded filling. Another useful high-tech tool used at Adler Cosmetic and Family Dentistry is the Intra-Oral Camera. This device is a miniature video camera that displays a close-up picture of the inside of a patient’s mouth. One benefit is that it allows patients to visually see where work needs to be done as well as which teeth are doing just fine. Use of this tools allows patients to become active participants in each dental decision. We think you’ll be impressed by this when you visit our office, especially if you’ve not been exposed to it before. For additional information we invite current and new patients to contact our office at (303) 449-1119. Appointments for treatment or consultations are also available. About Broomfield, Colorado The municipality of Broomfield was incorporated in 1961 in the southeastern corner of Boulder County. It received its name from the broomcorn grown in the area. Over the next three decades, the city grew through annexations, many of which crossed the county line into four adjacent counties: Adams, Boulder, Jefferson, and Weld. In the 1990s, city leaders began to push for the creation of a separate county to avoid the inefficiencies of dealing with four separate court districts, four different county seats (each a considerable distance away), and four separate county sales tax bases. It also had longstanding political differences with Boulder County, which impelled it to separate. Broomfield reasoned that it could provide services more responsively under its own county government, and sought an amendment to the Colorado State Constitution to create a new county. The amendment passed in 1998, after which a three-year transition period followed. On November 15, 2001, Broomfield County became the 64th, newest, and smallest, county of Colorado. As of the census of 2000, there were 38,272 people, 13,842 households, and 10,270 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,411.6 people per square mile (545.1/km²). There were 14,322 housing units at an average density of 528.2/sq mi (204.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.62 percent White, 0.92 percent African American, 0.61 percent Native American, 4.14 percent Asian, 0.04 percent Pacific Islander, 3.21 percent from other races, and 2.45 percent from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.07 percent of the population. Broomfield Dentist | Broomfield Dentistry | Broomfield Dentists | Dentist in Broomfield | Dentists in Broomfield
