Adler Dentistry has a 21st century cavity detection system, called the Diagnodent, that finds decay that x-rays miss!!!

This is laser technology that sees inside the tooth. It scans teeth for hidden decay without the radiation associated with x-rays.

It's also much more accurate than conventional x-rays. Research has shown the traditional x-ray method of looking for decay, can miss up to 50% of the tooth decay, that is present.

The Diagnodent beams laser light beneath the hard enamel layer. The beam is reflected back to a hand held wand-like device.

The laser beam locates and measures decay lurking below the tooth enamel. Dr. Adler's Diagnodent laser gives a series of variable pitched sounds, and a numerical readout (above 25 indicates decay), tell the dentist if there is decay is present and to what extent.
